Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure you have all components laid out and identify them using the included parts list.
- Turn off the main water supply to your bathroom before beginning installation.
- Follow the provided diagrams to connect the shower valve to your existing hot and cold water supply lines, using the UK standard G1/2 and G3/4 adapters as needed.
- Mount the shower arm and the rainfall showerhead.
- Connect the hose for the handheld shower to the valve outlet and attach the handheld showerhead.
- Turn the water supply back on slowly and check all connections for leaks.
- Test the temperature control and anti-scalding features.
Compatibility:
This shower system is designed with UK standard G1/2 and G3/4 connections, making it compatible with most standard UK plumbing configurations. It is recommended to check your existing pipework dimensions if you have non-standard fittings.
Care:
- Clean the chrome surfaces regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can scratch the finish.
- To clean the showerheads, gently wipe the nozzles to remove any mineral buildup. For stubborn deposits, you can remove the showerhead and soak it in a mild vinegar solution, then rinse thoroughly.
- Periodically check all connections for signs of wear or leakage.
