Transplanting: Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into 8cm (3in) pots. Grow them in cooler conditions.
Acclimatization: Gradually acclimatize plants to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after the risk of frost has passed.
Planting: Plant 25-30cm (9-12in) apart in well-cultivated garden soil, in sun or partial shade.
Watering: Water plants frequently throughout the growing season, but avoid overwatering.
Feeding: Feed plants regularly during the growing season.
Deadheading: Deadhead spent single female flowers to encourage more double male flowers and extend the flowering period.
