Full details
The Tifosi RX03 Optical Adapter is the ideal solution for adult athletes who wear prescription glasses and rely on the Tifosi Podium series for eye protection. By allowing you to integrate custom prescription lenses directly behind your existing sunglass lenses, this adapter ensures crystal-clear vision without sacrificing the aerodynamic benefits of your high-performance eyewear. While it offers unparalleled convenience for cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts, note that it requires a visit to an optician to have the included lens blanks replaced with your specific prescription.

FAQs
Can I install the lenses myself?
No, the lens blanks must be taken to a professional optician to be cut to your specific prescription.
Does this adapter work with other Tifosi models?
No, the RX03 is specifically designed for the Tifosi Podium series and is not compatible with other frame models.
Will these lenses fog up easily?
The Podium frame's ventilation design helps airflow, but using an anti-fog spray on the adapter lenses is recommended for humid conditions.
Is the adapter visible from the outside?
The adapter is designed to be low-profile and is nearly invisible from a distance, maintaining the look of your standard sunglasses.
Can I use these for sports other than cycling?
Yes, they are suitable for any vigorous activity where your Podium sunglasses are used, provided they stay securely on your face.
Troubleshooting
Adapter does not click into place
Ensure you are using the correct Tifosi Podium series frame and check for any debris in the nose piece socket.
Vision feels distorted after fitting
Return to your optician to verify the pupillary distance (PD) measurements and ensure the lenses were mounted at the correct optical center.
Adapter causes discomfort on the bridge of the nose
Adjust the flexible nose piece included with the adapter to better distribute weight across the bridge.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To begin using the RX03, take the adapter and the included lens blanks to your local optometrist. They will verify your prescription and mount the lenses into the adapter frames. Once the lenses are fitted, align the adapter with the nose bridge of your Tifosi Podium sunglasses and press firmly until you hear a secure click. To care for the system, clean the adapter lenses with a mild soap and water solution or a dedicated microfiber lens cloth to avoid scratching the surface. Always store your sunglasses in a hard-shell case to prevent pressure from damaging the adapter alignment.
