Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Determine Placement: Choose a secure wall location, ensuring it can support weight. Use a stud finder for optimal mounting if possible.
- Mark Holes: Position the grab rail and mark the screw hole locations.
- Drill Holes: Use an appropriate drill bit to create pilot holes at the marked locations.
- Insert Anchors: If mounting on drywall or tile without hitting a stud, insert the provided expansion screws.
- Secure Rail: Align the grab rail with the holes and fasten it using the provided screws. Ensure the rail is firmly attached.
*Note: Refer to the visual installation guide included with the product for detailed diagrams.*
Compatibility:
These grab rails are designed for mounting on most standard wall surfaces, including tile, drywall, and potentially solid wood or concrete. Ensure the chosen mounting surface is structurally sound to support the intended load.
Care:
- Clean regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Mild soap can be used for tougher grime.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they can damage the PVC grip and stainless steel finish.
- Wipe dry after cleaning to maintain appearance and prevent water spots.
- Periodically check that the screws remain tight to ensure continued stability.
