Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Trevor Taslon project, use a sharp, high-quality needle (such as a 70/10 or 80/12 Microtex) to avoid damaging the dense weave. When pressing the fabric, use a low to medium heat setting with a pressing cloth, as high temperatures can compromise the water-repellent finish. For cleaning, machine wash in cool water on a gentle cycle and hang to dry; avoid using harsh fabric softeners, as they can reduce the technical properties of the material. Always perform a test stitch on a scrap piece of fabric to verify your machine tension before beginning your main project.
