Setup, Compatibility & Care
To begin using the strap, extend the hook to your anchor point, pull the required amount of webbing, and operate the ratchet handle to tighten. When finished, release the ratchet lock and guide the strap back into the housing to activate the retraction.
Compatibility is focused on standard vehicle anchor points, bed hooks, and trailer rails. To maintain the life of your strap:
- Regularly inspect the polyester webbing for fraying or cuts.
- Keep the internal mechanism free of debris or grit by wiping the body clean.
- Avoid storing the strap while wet to preserve the integrity of the steel housing.
- Do not over-tension beyond the strap's rated capacity.
