Full details
Van Den Eynde World Champion Groundbait 1kg. Marcel Van Den Eynde created this mixture for the Belgian team to use during the 1983 World Championships on the Rhine canal. It is known for its effectiveness on rivers like the Trent and is popular in the UK. This medium-weight, sticky groundbait is suitable for balling in warmer months and in medium-flow waters. A traditional River Trent mix can be made by combining 2 parts brown crumb with 1 part damp leam for a denser mix. This is a fairly heavy mix, first developed by Marcel Van Den Eynde for the 1983 World Championship venue in Holland, which Belgium won. It's a good attractor for quality roach and chub and works best in depths of 6-12ft. A good winter ground bait, it has a fairly sticky consistency which makes it a very good carrier of loose offerings, when there's a need to get a lot of casters in a swim with only small amounts of ground bait.
