Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the jump starter is fully charged before first use. Connect the supplied charger to the unit and a mains power outlet.
- When ready to jump-start, connect the red clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the dead battery and the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal or a suitable chassis ground point away from the battery.
- Turn the 0/12/24V rotary switch to the correct voltage setting for the vehicle being started.
- Attempt to start the vehicle. Once started, allow the vehicle's alternator to charge the jump starter battery if possible by leaving it running for a period.
- Turn the rotary switch back to 0 before disconnecting the clamps, starting with the black clamp, then the red clamp.

- Recharge the unit regularly, even if not in use, to maintain battery health. Consult the user manual for recommended charging intervals.
- Keep the clamps clean and free from corrosion.
- Avoid dropping the unit or exposing it to extreme temperatures.
- Ensure the unit is disconnected from the vehicle and the rotary switch is set to '0' before connecting the charger.
