This guide is for woodworkers, furniture restorers, and DIY enthusiasts seeking a natural, versatile product for finishing and maintenance. The Liberon Beeswax 200g offers a pure beeswax solution for polishing, lubricating, and even traditional wood filling, providing a protective and aesthetically pleasing finish. A potential caveat is its soft nature, which may require reapplication in high-traffic areas.

Liberon Beeswax is primarily used as a furniture polish to protect and enhance the natural beauty of wood, and to lubricate moving parts like drawer runners.
It is best suited for natural or oiled wood finishes. Always test on an inconspicuous area first if applying to a pre-finished surface.
Gently warm the beeswax to soften it, then press it into small imperfections. Once cooled, you can trim and sand it smooth.
A little goes a long way. Apply a thin layer with a soft cloth and buff to the desired sheen.
It offers natural protection against dust and moisture. For areas of high wear or moisture exposure, reapplication may be necessary periodically.
When stored correctly in a cool, dry place, beeswax has a very long shelf life.
Yes, pure beeswax can be melted and incorporated into other homemade wood care formulations, but always research safe practices for melting waxes.
Gently warm the beeswax. You can do this by placing the container in a warm water bath for a short period, or by using a hairdryer on a low setting. Avoid direct excessive heat.
You may have applied too much wax. Buff more vigorously with a clean, dry cloth to remove excess. If residue remains, clean the area with a cloth slightly dampened with mineral spirits (test in an inconspicuous area first) and reapply a thinner coat.
Ensure the wood surface is clean, dry, and free of dust and oils. For best adhesion, the area to be filled should be raw wood or well-prepared.
Setup: No specific setup is required. The product is ready for use as is for polishing and lubrication. For use as a wood filler, it may need to be gently warmed (e.g., in a warm water bath) to soften it for application.
Compatibility: Compatible with most natural wood finishes. It is best suited for raw or oiled wood. Test on an inconspicuous area first when applying to finished surfaces. Not recommended for use on painted or lacquered items where it may interfere with the existing finish.
Care: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep the container tightly closed. Clean applicators or hands with warm water and soap.
