FAQs
Are the pouches waterproof?
The pouches are made from durable, water-resistant materials, and feature heavy-duty zippers. However, they are not fully waterproof and prolonged submersion is not recommended. The clear view window material may also be susceptible to water ingress over time.
What is the material of the clear window?
The clear window is made from a durable, transparent material designed for visibility. Specific material composition may vary.
Can I wash these pouches in a washing machine?
It is not recommended to machine wash these pouches. Hand washing with a damp cloth and mild soap is the preferred method for cleaning.
What is the difference between the sizes?
The kit includes three distinct sizes: Large (24cm L x 10cm H x 6cm D), Medium (11cm L x 10cm W x 5cm H), and Small (9cm L x 7cm W x 5cm H), designed to hold items of varying dimensions.
Are the 'Black Cam' patterns on all pouches identical?
Images are for illustration purposes only. Due to the nature of camouflage patterns, the exact arrangement of colors and shapes may vary on each individual pouch.
How durable are the zippers?
The pouches are equipped with military-spec zippers, which are known for their strength, reliability, and smooth operation, even under demanding conditions.
Can these pouches be attached to MOLLE webbing?
The product description does not specify MOLLE compatibility. These pouches are primarily designed for internal organization within other bags or containers.
Troubleshooting
Zipper is difficult to move
Check for any fabric or debris caught in the zipper teeth. Gently work the zipper back and forth. If necessary, apply a small amount of graphite (from a pencil) or a silicone-based lubricant to the zipper track.
Clear window is smudged or opaque
Clean the window with a soft, damp cloth. For tougher smudges, use a plastic cleaner designed for screens or acrylic surfaces, followed by a gentle polish with a dry microfiber cloth.
Pouch feels stiff or less flexible
This can occur after prolonged storage or exposure to cold. Allow the pouch to return to room temperature. The material will regain its flexibility over time with use.
Pros and Cons
Pros

- Military-grade zippers offer reliable performance.
- Easy to clean bases add to the practicality.
- Variety of sizes accommodates different storage requirements.
Cons
- Fixed pouch sizes may not be ideal for custom-fit needs.
- The 'Black Cam' pattern is for illustration and may vary.
- Nylon material, while durable, may not offer the same level of water resistance as specialized waterproof fabrics.
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: These pouches are designed for direct use. Simply place your desired items inside and secure the zipper. Their utility lies in their organization capabilities within larger bags, packs, or containers.
Compatibility: The Speero Clear View Pouches Kit is compatible with most backpacks, duffel bags, tool cases, and storage systems where organizational pouches are beneficial. The specific dimensions should be cross-referenced with the intended storage space.
Care: To clean the pouches, use a damp cloth to wipe down the exterior and interior. For stubborn dirt, a mild soap can be used, followed by rinsing with clean water. Ensure the pouches are completely dry before storing them to prevent mildew. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the fabric and clear window material. The heavy-duty bases can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
