Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation should be performed by a technician familiar with high-pressure hydraulics. Always ensure all connections are clean before installation to prevent debris from entering the internal spools, which could cause leaks or valve sticking.
- Mount the valve to a stable surface using the integrated mounting holes.
- Identify the 'P' (Pressure), 'T' (Tank), and work ports ('A' and 'B') to ensure correct plumbing.
- Use compatible BSPP-to-NPT adapters if your existing hoses are not BSPP threaded.
- Tighten fittings to manufacturer specifications using thread sealant designed for hydraulic fluids.
- Cycle the system slowly to bleed trapped air before applying full load.
For ongoing care, regularly inspect the area around the spools for signs of seepage and ensure the relief valve setting remains calibrated to your equipment's operating requirements.
