Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation requires only basic tools, such as a sharp utility knife or heavy-duty scissors to cut the material to size. Because the fibres are non-irritating, no protective clothing is strictly necessary, though wearing a dust mask is always recommended when working in enclosed, dusty loft spaces.
To install, simply measure the gap between your joists or wall studs, cut the roll roughly 10-20mm wider than the opening to ensure a snug, friction-fit seal, and press the material into place. Ensure the insulation is not crushed, as it performs best when it maintains its full 50mm loft. For maintenance, keep the area dry; if the material is exposed to standing water, ensure the source of the leak is repaired immediately to allow the hydrophobic fibres to dry out naturally.
