This Varilight Brushed Steel Double Switched Socket is designed for homeowners seeking a blend of traditional aesthetics and modern functionality. Its key benefit is providing convenient, fast USB charging alongside standard power outlets, reducing the need for separate adapters. A potential caveat is the shared 20W limit for USB charging, which may affect simultaneous charging of multiple high-power devices. This socket offers two 13A switched outlets and integrated USB-A and USB-C ports with QuickCharge technology, all housed in an elegant brushed steel finish.

Check that the socket is correctly wired and that the circuit breaker has not tripped. Ensure the device's plug is fully inserted.
Verify that the socket is receiving power. Try a different USB cable and ensure the device is compatible with USB charging. If charging multiple devices, ensure the combined draw does not exceed the 20W shared limit.
This may occur if charging multiple devices simultaneously or if the device does not support QuickCharge technology. Ensure the device is compatible with the 20W shared output.

Setup: This is a mains voltage product and should be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with current wiring regulations. Ensure the power is switched off at the mains before installation.
Compatibility: The 13A sockets are compatible with standard UK mains plugs. The USB-A and USB-C ports support devices requiring USB charging, with QuickCharge compatibility for faster charging of supported devices. The total shared USB output is 20W.
Care: To clean, switch off the power at the mains. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface. For stubborn marks, use a slightly damp cloth and then dry thoroughly. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they can damage the finish.
