FAQs
How high is the completed fence?
The completed fence stands at 185cm in height.
Does the fence come in other colors?
This specific model is finished in a contemporary grey color family.
Can the panels be painted?
The composite material is designed for a low-maintenance, permanent finish and is not intended to be painted.
Are the lights wired to mains power?
No, the LEDs are entirely solar-powered via integrated caps on the aluminium posts.
What is included in the set?
The set includes 5 fence panels (6ft each), 6 aluminium posts, 1 angled fence piece, and the necessary solar-capped toppers.
Is it suitable for windy areas?
The composite structure is durable, but installation must ensure that posts are securely anchored to the ground to withstand environmental pressure.
Troubleshooting
Solar LEDs not turning on at night
Ensure the solar caps are receiving at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight and check that the light sensors are not obstructed by overhanging branches or debris.
Slats are difficult to slide into the posts
Verify that the aluminium posts are perfectly plumb and level. Check the inner channels for any manufacturing burrs or debris that may be causing resistance.
Fence feels unstable after installation
Double-check that all post footings are firmly secured to the ground and that all panel connections are fully seated in the post channels.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Sophisticated grey finish complements modern outdoor spaces.
- Low-maintenance composite material resists rot and warping.
- Integrated solar lighting removes the need for electrical wiring.
- Reversible design offers two distinct visual styles.
- Sturdy aluminium posts provide excellent structural support.
Cons
- Requires careful alignment during installation for best results.
- Limited to a specific total width configuration.
- Solar performance is dependent on consistent daylight exposure.
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation should begin by ensuring the ground is level to support the 185cm aluminium posts. The 9-slat panels are designed to slide into the vertical channels of the posts; ensure these are cleared of any debris before assembly to prevent friction. For the angled fence piece, follow the provided sequence to maintain the structural continuity of the fencing run. Care is minimal: periodic cleaning with a mild soap and water solution is sufficient to remove dust or garden residue. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive scrubbing tools that might scratch the composite surface.
