Product Information
Full details
The Sweeek Secretary Desk is an ideal solution for remote workers and students living in compact spaces who need a dedicated workspace that blends seamlessly with home decor. It offers the key benefit of a space-saving, multifunctional design that transitions easily from a work surface to a storage cabinet. However, potential users should note the shelf weight capacity, which is limited to 10kg, meaning it is better suited for light office tasks rather than storing heavy equipment or large book collections.

FAQs
What is the maximum weight the desk surface can hold?
The lift-up desk surface supports up to 20kg.
Can the shelves be adjusted?
The desk includes multiple shelves; please refer to the assembly instructions to see which are fixed or adjustable.
What are the overall dimensions of the desk?
The desk measures W 90 x D 38 x H 138cm.
How do I clean the cane material?
Use a soft brush attachment on a vacuum or a dry, soft cloth to gently dust the cane detailing.
Is this desk suitable for a heavy desktop monitor?
Due to the 20kg weight limit on the lift-up door, we recommend using this desk primarily for laptops or writing, rather than heavy desktop computers.
Troubleshooting
The lift-up door does not stay in the open position.
Check if the cylinder mechanism is securely attached and properly tensioned according to the manual.
The desk feels wobbly.
Verify that all legs are fully tightened and ensure the desk is positioned on a level surface; consider using furniture pads to compensate for floor imperfections.
Pros and Cons

- Easy-access cylinder lift mechanism
- Effective combination of desk surface and hidden storage

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To assemble the Sweeek Secretary Desk, ensure you have a clear area and a screwdriver. Begin by laying out all panels and hardware as per the included manual, ensuring the cylinder mechanism is aligned correctly during the door installation.
For maintenance, use a slightly damp cloth to wipe away dust and debris; avoid harsh chemical cleaners that could damage the wood decor or the cane detailing. Periodically check that all leg screws remain tight to maintain maximum stability. Place the unit on a level floor to prevent the lift-up door from catching or misaligning due to an uneven base.
