The 55 mm measurement refers to the width of the lens, which helps in determining if the frames are proportional to your face size.
While the frames are designed for high-quality aesthetics, it is recommended to consult with an optician to determine if the specific lens curvature supports prescription insertion.
These sunglasses are handcrafted in Italy, ensuring premium quality and design standards.
Always store the sunglasses in their protective case, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, when you are not wearing them.
It is not recommended to submerge designer sunglasses in water, especially salt water or chlorinated pool water, as it may damage the frame finish and hardware.
Visit a professional optician to have the temples professionally adjusted for a custom fit.
Clean gently with a dedicated microfiber cloth and a mild, alcohol-free lens cleaning spray.
To ensure the longevity of your Alaïa sunglasses, keep them in their provided protective case when not in use. Avoid leaving the frames in hot vehicles, as extreme temperatures can warp the material. To clean, use a microfiber cloth and lens cleaning solution specifically designed for eyewear; avoid using paper towels or abrasive fabrics that could scratch the lenses. Regularly check the temple hinges and tighten if they become loose over time to ensure a proper fit.
