Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the wall surface is clean, dry, and smooth before installation.
- Test the adhesive on a small, inconspicuous area or a sample panel first.
- Apply a suitable adhesive (typically recommended by the manufacturer) to the back of the panels or directly to the wall, following the adhesive instructions.
- Press each panel firmly into place, ensuring a secure fit with adjacent panels.
- Cut panels as needed using a fine-tooth saw for a precise fit around outlets or corners.
Compatibility:
These panels are designed for interior walls. Compatibility with plaster, drywall, and wood surfaces is generally good, provided the surface is properly prepared. Not recommended for high-moisture areas like shower stalls unless specifically treated or sealed by the installer.
Care:
- Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
- For cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they can damage the white wash finish and the natural wood.
- Spills should be wiped up immediately to prevent staining.
