The uni-ball Chalk Marker is ideal for artists, shop owners, and home organizers who need a reliable, professional-looking way to create signage on non-porous surfaces. Its primary benefit is the combination of a bold, opaque white line with rain-resistant durability, though it is important to note that it is strictly intended for non-porous materials and will likely stain or become permanent on porous ones.

Yes, provided the chalkboard is non-porous or has been properly sealed. If the board is raw slate or unsealed, the ink may stain.
It is semi-permanent on non-porous surfaces, meaning it stays until you intentionally wipe it off with a damp cloth.
No, this is a chalk marker intended for hard, non-porous surfaces and will likely bleed or be absorbed permanently into paper.
Store the marker horizontally to ensure the pigment remains evenly distributed throughout the nib.
The ink is rain-resistant, so light moisture will not cause the ink to run; however, it is not waterproof and heavy rain or intentional scrubbing with water will remove it.
Ensure the cap is on and shake the marker vigorously, then prime the tip by pressing it repeatedly on a scrap surface.
You may have used the marker on a porous surface; try using a glass cleaner or a slightly abrasive sponge, but test on a small area first to avoid damage.
To begin using the marker, ensure the surface is clean, dry, and non-porous. Shake the marker well with the cap on to mix the ink, then press the tip down on a scrap piece of paper several times until the ink flows into the nib. To remove the marks, simply apply a damp cloth to the surface and wipe. Always store the marker in a horizontal position when not in use to maintain ink consistency. Avoid using on surfaces like unsealed wood, fabric, or matte paint, as these will absorb the pigment and prevent clean removal.
