FAQs
Why did my lighter arrive without gas?
Lighters are shipped without fuel due to international air mail regulations and safety standards. You will need to purchase and refill it with butane before use.
How do I refill the lighter?
Turn the lighter upside down, insert the nozzle of a butane canister into the refill valve, and press firmly for about 10-15 seconds. Repeat a few times, allowing the gas to settle in between refills.
How long does the red flame take to appear?
The red flame effect typically appears about 2-3 seconds after ignition and is designed to be visible in sunlight.
Can I use this lighter for cigars?
Yes, this lighter features a built-in cigar punch, making it convenient for cigar preparation.
Is the flame adjustable?
Yes, the lighter has an adjustable flame height controlled by a screw located near the refill valve.
What type of fuel should I use?
It is recommended to use high-quality, purified butane fuel for optimal performance and to prevent clogging of the internal mechanisms.
How do I clean the lighter?
Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. If the burners are clogged, use a fine needle or compressed air to gently clear them. Avoid using liquid cleaners on the burner area.
Troubleshooting
Lighter does not ignite.
Ensure the lighter is adequately filled with butane. Check that the ignition button is being pressed firmly. Clean the ignition area and burners of any debris.
Flame is weak or sputtering.
Refill the butane tank. Adjust the flame height using the adjustment screw. Ensure the butane used is of good quality and purified.
Red flame does not appear or takes too long.
The red color develops after a few seconds of ignition. Ensure the burners are clean. If the issue persists, check the butane level and quality.
Butane leaks from the refill valve.
Ensure the butane canister nozzle is properly seated in the valve during refilling. Do not overfill. If leakage continues after refilling, the valve may need servicing or replacement.
Flip-top lid is loose or stiff.
Inspect the hinge for any obstructions or damage. Gently clean the hinge area. If stiffness persists, a small drop of lubricant (ensure it doesn't get into the burner mechanism) might help, but proceed with caution.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Refill with Butane: The lighter is shipped without gas. Turn the lighter upside down and insert a butane canister nozzle into the refill valve at the bottom. Press firmly for 10-15 seconds. Repeat a few times, allowing gas to settle in between. Ensure you are using high-quality, purified butane fuel.

Care:
- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. If the burners become clogged, use a fine needle or compressed air to gently clear them.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Keep the lid closed when not in use to protect the burners.
- Maintenance: Periodically check the refill valve for debris. Ensure the lighter is dry before attempting to refill.
