Product Information

Full details

The Dodo Pad Diary 2027 is a versatile A5 week-to-view planner designed for busy households, families, or professionals who need to manage multiple schedules simultaneously in one place. Its primary benefit is a highly intuitive grid layout that tracks up to five distinct categories or people, ensuring everyone stays coordinated throughout the calendar year; however, users who prefer a minimalist or ultra-slim notebook may find its 132-page robust spiral-bound design slightly bulkier than standard pocket planners.

FAQs

Is this planner specific to the calendar year?

Yes, the Dodo Pad Diary 2027 is structured as a calendar year planner.

Can I use this for more than five people?

While the columns are designed for five, you can combine rows or split columns if you need to track more categories, though five is the intended optimum.

Does it include monthly views?

The primary focus is the week-to-view format to maximize space for daily planning.

Is the cover waterproof?

No, the cover is made of high-quality paper materials to ensure a plastic-free design, so please keep it away from spills.

Is the paper fountain pen friendly?

The paper is robust, but for very wet nibs, testing on the back page is recommended to check for bleed-through.

Where is it manufactured?

The Dodo Pad is proudly made in the UK.

Troubleshooting

Pages are tearing at the spiral binding

Avoid pulling pages forcefully. Always flip pages gently by guiding them along the coil rather than tugging at the edge.

Ink is bleeding through the pages

The paper is high quality, but very heavy fountain pen inks may still ghost. We recommend using standard ballpoint, gel, or fine-liner pens.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Excellent for managing multiple schedules in one location
Eco-friendly, plastic-free construction
Lays flat for comfortable writing
High-quality paper stock suitable for various pens
Clear, intuitive layout for rapid planning

Cons

Spiral binding can occasionally snag in crowded bags
Fixed layout may not suit users who prefer blank pages
Size is slightly larger than traditional pocket diaries

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To get the most out of your Dodo Pad, we recommend setting up a color-coding system for your columns during the first week of use. Use a permanent marker to label the headers of the five columns so you do not have to rewrite them every week.

Care: Keep the diary in a dry environment to maintain the integrity of the paper and spiral binding. Avoid overstuffing the planner with loose papers, as this can stress the spiral coil over time.
Compatibility: The A5 format fits comfortably in most standard briefcases, backpacks, and medium-sized handbags.
Storage: Store flat in a drawer or on a shelf when not in use to ensure the cover remains crisp throughout the year.
