Sunflower oil, lanolin, almond oil and beeswax are the main ingredients of the base. Skin Food also contains extracts of soothing chamomile, calendula, wild pansy to add to this blend of enriching oils and waxes to provide a fine protective barrier against the ravages of wind and weather. Lanolin, chemically, is almost identical to sebum, the natural oil produced by the skin. It is therefore an ideal substance to ‘feed' to dry skin.
