The Rute Pendant Shade in Grey is designed for homeowners and renters seeking a modern, tiered aesthetic without the need for complex electrical work. Its key benefit is the reflective silver inner lining, which enhances light output in any room, though users should note it is strictly for non-electric pendant fittings only. This stylish shade serves as a quick, cost-effective update for living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms.

No, this is a shade-only product designed to fit onto your existing pendant cable and bulb holder.
This shade is not moisture-rated and is intended for use in dry, indoor living spaces.
Please follow the wattage guidelines of your existing pendant light fitting, as the shade does not affect the electrical load.
Use a dry microfiber cloth to gently wipe away any dust; avoid wet cloths to prevent water spots or damage to the reflective coating.
The shade itself has a fixed height of 20cm, but the overall drop is determined by your existing pendant cord.
Adjust the tension of the bulb holder ring to ensure it sits evenly on the shade's inner gallery.
Ensure the light bulb used is of sufficient brightness (lumens) to make use of the silver reflective inner surface.
Installation is intended for 'easy-fit' pendant systems. Simply remove your existing shade, slide the Rute shade ring over your current light cord, and secure it with the existing bulb holder ring.
This product is compatible with most standard bayonet or screw-cap bulb holders found in typical ceiling pendants. Ensure your existing fitting can accommodate a 35cm diameter shade.
To maintain the fabric finish, dust the exterior periodically with a soft, dry cloth or a dedicated upholstery attachment on a vacuum. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or water, as these may damage the fabric or degrade the adhesive lining.
