FAQs
What level of player is this racket best suited for?
This racket is best suited for intermediate to advanced players who have developed consistent strokes and are looking to enhance their speed and spin capabilities for competitive play.
Is the rubber ITTF approved?
Yes, the racket features ITTF-approved 4-star rubber, making it suitable for use in official tournaments.
How does the Crystal Technology benefit my game?
Crystal Technology is integrated into the blade to increase its stiffness and responsiveness, resulting in enhanced speed and a more dynamic feel during play.
What is the difference between this 4-star racket and a lower-star racket?
Higher star ratings generally indicate better quality materials, more advanced technologies, and superior performance characteristics like increased speed, spin, and control, often resulting in a higher price point.
Can I replace the rubber on this racket?
While the rubber is ITTF-approved and designed for performance, it is possible to replace it with other compatible rubbers if desired, though this requires specialized knowledge and adhesive.
How should I store my table tennis racket?
Store your racket in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Using a racket case is highly recommended to protect the rubber and blade.
Troubleshooting
Reduced spin or speed
Ensure the rubber is clean. Dust and debris can significantly affect performance. Clean the rubber with a recommended cleaner or a slightly damp cloth.
Uncomfortable grip during play
The concave handle is designed for ergonomics. If it still feels uncomfortable, consider using a performance grip tape or wrist strap (if allowed in your playing environment).
Rubber peeling off the blade
This is rare with proper care. If minor peeling occurs at the edges, a specialized rubber cement for table tennis rackets can be used for repair. For significant damage, consult STIGA customer support.
