Product Information

Full details

The B&Q Folding Pilates Reformer is designed for home fitness enthusiasts and personal trainers seeking professional-grade core training in a space-conscious footprint. Its primary benefit is the seamless integration of a high-performance, smooth-glide carriage with a convenient folding mechanism that allows for easy storage under beds or in cupboards. While it offers a robust platform for Pilates and rehabilitation work, users should note that at 40kg, it requires a steady hand when folding or unfolding, making it better suited for users who value stability over extreme lightweight portability.

FAQs

Can I fold the reformer while the jump board is attached?

No, the jump board must be removed before folding the reformer to prevent damage to the frame or board.

What are the dimensions when folded?

While the active dimensions are 2420mm (L) x 580mm (W) x 560mm (H), the folding design significantly reduces its profile, allowing it to slide under furniture approximately 20-25cm high.

Is assembly difficult?

The reformer comes partially assembled; most users find the remaining assembly takes approximately 15-30 minutes with basic tools.

How do I adjust the resistance?

Resistance is adjusted using the tension settings located on the frame, which allow you to attach or detach springs based on your strength requirements.

What is the weight limit for this reformer?

The reformer is designed for standard residential use; please refer to the manual included in the packaging for specific weight capacity ratings.

Troubleshooting

Carriage feels jerky or noisy during movement

Wipe down the rails with a clean microfiber cloth to remove debris and check for any obstructions in the track wheels.

Reformer feels unstable during use

Ensure the reformer is fully unfolded and locked into the flat position, and verify that the rubber feet are making even contact with the floor.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: The unit arrives mostly assembled, though attaching the jump board and setting the tension levels is required before the first session. Ensure the floor surface is level and use a non-slip mat underneath the frame to prevent movement during use.

Compatibility: This reformer is compatible with standard Pilates accessories and can be used with typical Pilates spring sets. It fits most users up to the standard height requirements for a 2420mm frame length.

Care: To maintain the glide system, wipe the rails clean with a soft, dry cloth after every session to prevent dust buildup. Use a mild soap and water solution on the upholstery, avoiding harsh chemicals. Periodically check that all bolts and tension knobs are tightened to ensure user safety.
