Setup, Compatibility & Care
Compatibility: This part (MPN 8421500002) is strictly compatible with Gas Gas MC85 motorcycles produced between 2021 and 2023. Verify your VIN or model year before installation.
Installation:
- Ensure the engine is cool before beginning.
- Remove the existing airbox cover by loosening the mounting bolts or releasing the clips according to your bike's manual.
- Clean the mounting surface of the airbox housing to ensure no debris interferes with the new seal.
- Align the Polisport cover with the intake housing and secure it using the original hardware.
Care: Clean using mild soap and water. Avoid using high-pressure sprayers directly on the seams to ensure the seal remains airtight, protecting the air filter from moisture and dust intrusion.
