Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the water supply to the shower head is turned off.
- Unscrew the old shower hose from the shower arm and the shower head.
- Screw the new Hairstore shower hose onto the shower arm, ensuring a snug fit. Hand-tighten first, then use a wrench for a final quarter turn if needed (do not overtighten).
- Attach the other end of the hose to the shower head, again hand-tightening followed by a slight turn with a wrench.
- Turn the water supply back on and check for leaks at both connection points.
Compatibility:
This hose features a universal G1/2'' connection, which is standard for most household shower arms and hand-held shower heads in many regions. However, it is always recommended to check the threading size of your existing shower arm and shower head to confirm compatibility before purchasing.
Care:
To maintain the appearance and functionality of your shower hose:
- Regularly wipe the hose with a soft, damp cloth to remove soap residue and water spots.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, which can damage the Matt White finish.
- Periodically check the connections for any signs of wear or leakage.
