The Burberry BE4436U sunglasses are designed for adults seeking a blend of classic luxury and modern geometry, offering a refined cat-eye silhouette that elevates everyday outfits with a touch of sophistication. These frames provide excellent versatility, particularly for those with round, oval, or heart-shaped face profiles who benefit from the angular, slimming effect of the cat-eye design. FAQs

Are these lenses polarized?

This specific model (BE4436U) features non-polarized lenses.

Will these fit a wide face?

The cat-eye silhouette is designed to be slimming; however, it is best suited for average face widths.

How do I identify the model number?

The model number 'BE4436U' is typically printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Can I put prescription lenses in these frames?

Yes, the high-quality acetate construction is generally compatible with prescription lens installation by a licensed optician.

Is the frame material flexible?

The frame is made of high-grade acetate, which is durable but should not be subjected to extreme bending.

How do I protect the finish?

Avoid leaving the sunglasses in high-heat environments like a car dashboard, which can warp or damage the frame finish.

Troubleshooting

Sunglasses sliding down the nose

Take them to an optician to have the temples gently adjusted for a more secure fit.

Streaky or cloudy lens surface

Use a dedicated lens cleaning spray and a clean microfiber cloth; avoid soap or household cleaners.

Visible smudges on the frame

Gently wipe the black acetate frame with a soft, lint-free cloth to restore its natural gloss.

Pros and Cons

Flattering geometry for round and heart-shaped faces

Cons

High-gloss finish is prone to visible fingerprints
Non-polarized lenses may not be ideal for extreme water or snow glare
Fixed temple design offers limited flexibility for wider face shapes

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your Burberry sunglasses maintain their finish and performance, follow these guidelines:

Cleaning: Always use a microfiber cloth to wipe the lenses. Avoid using paper towels or abrasive fabrics, as they can cause micro-scratches.
Storage: When not in use, store the sunglasses in the provided protective case to prevent accidental drops or pressure damage.
Adjustment: If the frames feel too tight or loose, visit a professional optician rather than attempting to bend the acetate temples yourself to avoid snapping the material.
Chemical Exposure: Keep the sunglasses away from saltwater, chlorine, and beauty products like hairspray or perfumes, which can degrade the protective coatings on the lenses and frame.
