Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Upon receiving the watch, if it has stopped, gently wind the crown clockwise approximately 30-40 times to build up the power reserve. Then, pull the crown out to set the time and date. Ensure the crown is pushed back in fully to maintain water resistance.
Compatibility: This watch is a standalone timepiece and does not require compatibility with other electronic devices. The leather strap can be replaced with other 12mm straps if desired, though official Tissot straps are recommended for optimal fit and quality.
Care:
- Cleaning: Wipe the case and crystal gently with a soft, dry cloth. For the dial, use a slightly damp cloth if necessary, avoiding direct contact with the movement. Clean the leather strap with a damp cloth and allow it to air dry. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Storage: Store the watch in its original box or a soft pouch to prevent scratches. Keep away from strong magnetic fields, as these can affect the accuracy of automatic movements.
- Water Resistance: While designed for daily wear, avoid prolonged submersion or high-pressure water activities unless specifically stated for your model. Always ensure the crown is fully secured.
