Yes, the platform-top design is compatible with all standard UK mattress types, including pocket spring and memory foam.
Use a vacuum with an upholstery attachment for regular dusting and a damp cloth for gentle spot cleaning.
The chrome gliders are designed to be smooth and floor-friendly, but a rug is recommended if you have sensitive hardwood floors.
Check that the strut bolts are tightened securely to both the headboard and the divan base.
Ensure the bed base is on a perfectly level surface and check for any debris caught in the drawer runner track.
Ensure the floor is level; if necessary, use small furniture shims under the gliders to stabilize the unit.
To set up your bed, ensure you have sufficient space to maneuver the base sections into your room. The headboard attaches via the included struts, allowing for minor height adjustments to accommodate different mattress thicknesses. For compatibility, this base supports standard UK mattress sizes. Maintenance is straightforward: gently vacuum the upholstered base using an upholstery attachment to remove dust, and spot-clean any minor spills with a damp, soft cloth and mild soap. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, as these may damage the cream fabric finish.
