Setup, Compatibility & Care
Because this is a natural material, proper care is essential to preserve the life of the leather. Upon receiving your jacket, allow it to air out if necessary. To maintain the leather's suppleness, apply a leather conditioner specifically formulated for lambskin or bovine leather once every six months. If the jacket gets wet, allow it to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can cause the leather to crack. Store the jacket on a padded or wide-shouldered hanger to maintain the shape of the oversized shoulders and prevent stretching. When cleaning, avoid harsh chemical detergents; use a soft, dry cloth for light dust or a specialist leather cleaner for spot treatment.
