Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Carvela boots remain in top condition, follow these guidelines:
- Break-in: Wear the boots for short periods around the house initially to allow the leather to naturally conform to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to remove surface dirt. For deeper cleaning, apply a leather-specific cleaner.
- Maintenance: Regularly apply a neutral leather conditioner to prevent the material from cracking or drying out.
- Storage: Keep the boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Use a shoe horn when putting them on to protect the back heel counter from collapsing.
- Weatherproofing: Consider applying a protective leather spray to guard against moisture and scuffs if wearing them in unpredictable weather.
