Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Prepare the ground by clearing any existing weeds and debris.
- Unroll the Keplin Weed Control Membrane and cut it to the desired shape using scissors or a utility knife.
- Lay the membrane flat over the prepared soil.
- For garden beds, cut small 'X' shapes where plants will be placed, ensuring the surrounding membrane remains intact.
- Secure the edges of the membrane with garden staples, rocks, or by covering it with mulch, gravel, or paving materials to prevent it from shifting or blowing away.
Compatibility:
This membrane is compatible with a wide range of landscaping materials including artificial turf, paving slabs, gravel, pebbles, bark mulch, and soil for planting beds. It is suitable for use in vegetable patches, flower beds, around trees and shrubs, and on slopes.
Care:
The membrane is designed to be low-maintenance. Periodically check that the edges are secure. If the surface becomes dirty, it can be brushed or rinsed with water. Avoid using sharp objects that could puncture the fabric unnecessarily.
