Troubleshooting

Pushchair won't fold properly

Ensure the seat unit is in the upright position and that no accessories are obstructing the folding mechanism. Check that all locking levers are disengaged.

Wheels feel stiff or wobbly

Remove the wheels and clean any dirt or debris from the axle and wheel housing. Ensure they are securely reattached.

Car seat won't click securely into base or pushchair

Verify that the correct adaptors are being used and are fully seated. Ensure the car seat is aligned correctly with the connection points and pushed down firmly until an audible click is heard.

Canopy doesn't stay extended

Setup: Assembling the iCandy Core 2 system is straightforward. The chassis unfolds easily, and the wheels can be attached or removed with a simple push-button mechanism. The seat unit, carrycot, and car seat (with adaptors) click into place securely. The head-hugger and harness should be adjusted for your child's comfort and safety.

The pushchair chassis is designed to accept iCandy carrycots and compatible infant carrier car seats (adaptors may be required for specific brands not included in this bundle).

Care:

  • Frame: Wipe the aluminium chassis clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Fabric: Spot clean fabric components such as the seat unit, carrycot lining, and canopy using mild soap and water. Allow to air dry completely. For deeper cleaning, refer to the specific care labels on each component. The fleece lining of the carrycot should be hand-washed gently.
