Yes, but ensure it is properly weighted down by the food so it does not fly up into the heating element.
While not strictly required, preheating for 3 minutes can help achieve a better sear on proteins.
We recommend hand washing the tray to preserve the longevity of the non-stick coating.
The air fryer can reach a maximum temperature of 200C.
Yes, the air fryer is highly effective for cooking frozen items like chips, nuggets, and breaded fish.
Ensure the power plug is securely inserted into a functioning wall outlet and the tray is fully pushed into the base.
Increase the temperature slightly or add an extra 2-3 minutes to the timer, and ensure you are not overfilling the basket.
This is normal for new heating elements; run the fryer empty for 10 minutes at 200C in a well-ventilated area before first cooking.
Setting up the air fryer is straightforward: place the unit on a flat, heat-resistant surface with at least 10cm of clearance on all sides to allow for proper ventilation. Before the first use, wash the removable tray with warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly. For ongoing care, wait for the unit to cool down completely before cleaning. The removable tray is the primary component requiring attention; avoid using abrasive scrubbers that could damage the non-stick surface. Always ensure the device is unplugged before performing any maintenance.
