Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup: The Sealey Jerry Can is ready for immediate use upon purchase. Ensure the cap is securely tightened before transportation. The pouring spout should be attached to the can before filling.
Compatibility: This jerry can is designed for the storage and transportation of gasoline, diesel, and other non-potable fuels. It is not suitable for water or other liquids.
Care:
- Cleaning: After each use, empty the can completely. Use a clean, damp cloth to wipe the exterior. For interior cleaning, rinse with a small amount of fresh fuel and empty thoroughly. Never use water to clean the inside, as this can lead to corrosion and contamination.
- Storage: Store the jerry can upright in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and sources of ignition. Ensure the cap is tightly sealed.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the can for any signs of damage, corrosion, or leaks. If damage is found, discontinue use immediately.
