This product is specifically designed to optimize peat-based materials and may not yield the same results with peat-free alternatives.
The duration depends on the volume of compost you are preparing; it is a concentrated additive designed to be mixed in small, precise ratios.
No, this is a seed base additive to improve soil structure and moisture retention, not a nutrient feed.
Yes, it is generally safe for seeds, cuttings, and seedlings, but always follow specific seed packet instructions for sowing depth.
The Soluwet agent reduces water surface tension, which allows the compost to absorb and hold water more effectively, reducing the need for constant watering.
It is recommended to avoid inhaling dust and to wash your hands thoroughly after handling the product.
Ensure the product was mixed evenly into the peat and that the sowing depth is appropriate for the specific seed variety.
Verify the water-to-compost ratio; the Soluwet agent works best when the compost is initially dampened thoroughly.
To use the Chempak Seed Base, follow the manufacturer's mixing instructions carefully to incorporate the powder into your peat-based substrate. It is highly compatible with standard seed trays, modular plug trays, and individual seedling pots. Once mixed, store any remaining product in a cool, dry environment to maintain the potency of the wetting agent. Always wash your hands after handling the product and avoid inhaling the powder while mixing.
