Extended Product Information

FAQs

Does this set include an extension pole?

No, the telescopic extension pole is sold separately.

Can I use this on tinted windows?

Yes, the soft rubber blade and microfiber scrubber are generally safe for tinted glass, but always test a small corner first if you are unsure.

Is the rubber blade replaceable?

The blade is designed for long-term use; however, ensure it is wiped clean after every use to maintain its performance.

What is the total width of the squeegee head?

The squeegee head is 35cm wide.

Can I use the scrubber and squeegee at the same time?

The set is designed as an integrated unit, allowing you to quickly rotate between the scrubber and the blade for efficient cleaning.

Troubleshooting

The squeegee is leaving streaks on the glass.

Ensure the rubber blade is clean and free of debris. Use a steady, constant pressure and overlap each stroke slightly.

The attachment is wobbly on the pole.

Check that the click connector is fully engaged and locked into the socket of the extension pole.

The microfiber cloth is no longer picking up dirt.

Wash the cloth in the machine; avoid using fabric softeners, as they can reduce the microfiber's absorption capabilities.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Efficient wide-blade design covers large areas quickly
Versatile use as either a handheld tool or with extension poles
Microfiber scrubber is machine washable for easy maintenance
Suitable for both residential glass and commercial applications

Cons

Telescopic extension pole must be purchased separately
The 35cm width may be too large for very small or narrow windows
Requires proper technique to ensure entirely streak-free results

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup

To use as a handheld tool, simply grip the handle firmly. For high-reach tasks, align the click connector of the squeegee head with the end of your IGAD telescopic pole and push until it locks into place.

Compatibility

This 35cm set is fully compatible with the IGAD ecosystem of telescopic extension poles. It is also available as a standalone unit (Model 1298975) depending on your specific kit needs.

Care

Cleaning the Scrubber: Remove the microfiber cloth after use and machine wash on a gentle cycle. Air dry before reattaching.
Blade Maintenance: Wipe the rubber squeegee blade clean with a damp cloth after each use to remove debris that could scratch glass.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to prevent the rubber from hardening or losing its flexibility.
