The Masterplug 6 Socket Extension Lead is designed for homeowners and office professionals who need to manage multiple electronics from a single power source. Its primary benefit is the ability to expand a single outlet into six, effectively organizing complex entertainment or workspace setups with a 2-metre reach. While it provides excellent flexibility for standard appliances like lamps and chargers, users should be mindful of the total wattage load to avoid overloading the extension.

This lead is designed for standard household electronics. Avoid using high-wattage appliances like heaters or kettles that exceed the maximum load capacity.
Yes, the unit features safety-shuttered sockets that block access to live parts unless a plug is correctly inserted.
No, this product is designed for indoor use only and should not be exposed to water or extreme humidity.
The lead is manufactured to BS1363-2 standards; check the specific product label for the exact amperage limit.
This model focuses on providing additional socket access; it does not include active surge protection circuitry.
Ensure the plug is pushed firmly into the socket. If the socket itself feels loose, the issue may be with the wall outlet rather than the lead.
Verify the wall socket is turned on, check if the appliance is properly plugged in, and ensure the master plug lead is fully inserted into the wall.
To set up your Masterplug, simply plug the lead into a standard wall socket. If you intend to mount the unit, use the fixing holes on the back to secure it to a flat surface using appropriate screws. It is compatible with all standard UK plug appliances including chargers, lamps, and media equipment. To care for the unit, keep it away from water and damp conditions, and occasionally wipe the exterior with a dry cloth. Never daisy-chain multiple extension leads together, as this poses a significant fire hazard, and always ensure the total wattage of connected appliances does not exceed the maximum rated load.
