The PrimaPress Pressfit Reducing Tee is a professional-grade plumbing solution engineered for plumbers and contractors who require reliable connections in water, gas, and glycol systems. Its primary benefit is the innovative 'leak before press' detection system that ensures security by highlighting unpressed joints during initial testing, though users should note it requires specific M-profile pressing equipment for a successful installation.

Verify that the correct M-profile jaws were used and that the pipe was inserted to the full depth marker.

Check that the press jaws are correctly aligned and that you are not using V-profile jaws, which are incompatible.
To install the PrimaPress fitting, ensure the copper pipe is cut square, deburred, and cleaned to prevent damage to the internal O-ring seal. Mark the insertion depth on the pipe to confirm it reaches the shoulder of the fitting. Use only M-profile pressing jaws that match the diameter of the fitting. Avoid using excessive force or lubricant that could degrade the O-ring material. While the copper is highly resistant to corrosion, ensure the system is properly flushed to remove any debris from the installation process that could affect the long-term integrity of the seal.
