No, this specific model is designed with metric markings only.
Yes, the sturdy edge of the Quicksquare acts as a reliable guide for circular saw bases for straight cross-cuts.
Avoid dropping the tool, as impact can misalign the pivot. Regularly check the 90-degree setting against a framing square.
It is constructed from high-durability materials designed to resist wear and tear in professional trade environments.
The tool includes common framing callouts; however, users should be familiar with basic roof framing geometry to maximize these features.
Ensure the locking knob is fully loosened; clean any sawdust or debris from the pivot point using compressed air.
Clean the surface with a non-abrasive degreaser to remove buildup, then rub a white or contrasting wax crayon over the recessed markings and wipe off the excess.
To set the angle, loosen the locking knob, rotate the adjustable arm to the desired degree marked on the scale, and tighten the knob securely before making any marks. The tool is compatible with most standard circular saw bases and can be used on all wood types. To maintain the square, keep the pivot mechanism free of heavy grit or debris. Wipe the body clean with a dry cloth after use in wet conditions to prevent oxidation, and periodically verify the squareness against a known straight edge to ensure continued accuracy.
