Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Determine Placement: Decide on the desired location and orientation for the netting.
- Secure Fixings: Utilize the integrated knitted eyelets along the top and bottom edges.
- Install: Use appropriate fixings such as cable ties or cord to attach the netting securely to posts, fences, or existing structures. Ensure fixings are strong enough to resist wind, particularly in exposed locations.
- Tension: Apply sufficient tension to prevent sagging, but avoid over-tightening which could damage the netting or eyelets.
Compatibility:
This netting is compatible with most standard garden structures, posts, and fencing systems. It can be used with wooden posts, metal frames, existing walls, or even strung between trees.
Care:
- Cleaning: Gently hose down the netting periodically to remove dust and debris. For tougher grime, use a soft brush with mild soap and water, then rinse thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the netting and fixings for signs of wear, tear, or loosening, especially after strong winds.
- Storage: If removing for the off-season, clean and dry the netting completely before storing it in a cool, dry place to prolong its lifespan.
