It is not recommended. Always use a serum, oil, or moisturizer to ensure the tool glides smoothly to avoid skin irritation.
For optimal results, it can be used daily, though 3 to 4 times a week is sufficient to see improvements in circulation and puffiness.
Yes, stainless steel is non-porous and generally hypoallergenic, but always use light pressure and adequate lubrication.
It is best to avoid using the tool directly over active acne or broken skin to prevent spreading bacteria or further irritation.
Since it is stainless steel, you can wash it with warm, soapy water or use a gentle alcohol-based disinfectant wipe.
Reduce the amount of pressure applied and ensure you are using enough facial oil for glide.
Hold the tool in your palms for 30 seconds to warm the stainless steel before contact.
There is no setup required for the Kitsch Gua Sha; it is ready to use immediately. It is compatible with all skin types, including sensitive skin, provided you use sufficient lubricant like facial oil or a rich moisturizer. To care for your tool, wash it with warm water and mild soap after every use. Because it is stainless steel, it is highly durable and will not crack if dropped, but should be stored in a dry place to maintain its appearance. You can also place the tool in the refrigerator for a few minutes before use to increase its cooling, depuffing effects.
