Setup, Compatibility & Care
To prepare your fabric, it is recommended to pre-wash it according to the care label to account for any initial settling. When cutting, use sharp pins or pattern weights to ensure the fabric remains flat on your cutting mat, as its lightweight nature can cause it to shift. For sewing, use a fine universal needle to prevent snagging the textured surface. Always test your stitch settings on a scrap piece of the fabric to ensure the tension is correct, especially for hems. For maintenance, machine wash on a gentle cycle and hang to dry; due to its crease-resistant properties, pressing is usually only required on a low-heat setting if necessary.
