Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation of the FC-R7000 requires a HollowTech II compatible bottom bracket tool. Ensure that you have the correct spacers installed according to your frame's bottom bracket width (e.g., 68mm or 73mm) and shell type (BSA, BB86, etc.). Always apply a thin layer of bicycle grease to the spindle and bearing interfaces to prevent creaking. Maintenance is straightforward: clean the chainrings periodically with a degreaser and inspect the teeth for wear. The anodised surface can be cleaned with mild soap and water; avoid abrasive cleaners that might strip the protective finish.
