Troubleshooting

Outlet is leaking at the wall connection

Ensure plumber's tape or sealant was used on the threads. Turn off the water supply and re-tighten the connection. If the leak persists, the fitting may be damaged or the wall pipe may require repair.

Shower hose does not connect securely

Verify that your shower hose has a standard 1/2" fitting. Ensure there are no obstructions or damage to the threads on the outlet or the hose connector. Hand-tighten first, then use pliers for a snug fit if necessary, being careful not to overtighten.

Water flow is weak

Check the showerhead itself for blockages. Ensure the water inlet connection to the wall is fully open and that there are no kinks in the shower hose. Low water pressure from the mains supply could also be a factor.

Matte black finish shows water spots

Wipe the outlet dry with a soft cloth after each use. If water spots appear, clean with a mild soap solution and rinse thoroughly, then dry completely.
