WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) approval means the tap has been tested and meets the high standards set by UK water regulations, ensuring it is safe for use with drinking water and prevents waste, undue contamination, or misuse of water.
Ceramic disc technology uses two durable ceramic discs that slide against each other to control water flow. This mechanism is highly resistant to wear and tear, providing a long-lasting, drip-free seal compared to traditional rubber washers.
Clean the chrome finish with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a clean, soft cloth to prevent water spots and maintain shine. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
The Nuie Aztec Mono Basin Mixer Tap comes with a 5-year guarantee, covering manufacturing defects and ensuring peace of mind for your purchase.
Yes, this tap is generally compatible with most water systems, including combi boilers, provided your system can deliver adequate water pressure. It is WRAS approved.
The tap is constructed from brass with internal components also made of high-quality brass, finished with a luxury chrome plating.
The dimensions are Height: 21.7 cm, Width: 23.0 cm, and Depth: 17.5 cm.
This typically indicates an issue with the ceramic disc cartridge. Ensure the tap is fully closed. If dripping persists, the cartridge may need replacement. Consult the 5-year guarantee for support.
Check the aerator at the tip of the spout for any blockages from debris or limescale. Unscrew the aerator and clean it carefully. Also, check if the isolation valves under the basin are fully open.
If the handles are stiff, it might be due to limescale buildup within the cartridge. Try gently operating the handles back and forth. If the issue persists, contact Nuie customer support, referencing your 5-year guarantee.
Ensure all connections are securely tightened. A loose component or internal issue with the valve could be causing the noise. If the problem continues, professional inspection may be required.
Setup: This tap is designed for installation on a standard mono basin, meaning it has a single tap hole. Ensure you have appropriate plumbing connections available. It is recommended that installation is carried out by a qualified plumber to ensure correct fitting and to maintain the warranty.
Compatibility: The Nuie Aztec Mono Basin Mixer Tap is compatible with standard UK plumbing systems. It is WRAS-approved, indicating its suitability for use with potable water.
Care: To maintain the luxurious chrome finish, clean the tap regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can scratch the surface. For stubborn water spots, a mild detergent can be used, followed by rinsing and drying with a soft cloth.
