FAQs

Can I use Shadowstix as an eyeliner?

Yes, you can apply it close to the lash line to function as a long-wearing, waterproof eyeliner.

Do I need a brush to blend it?

No, it is specifically designed to be blended with your fingertips for a quick and easy application.

Is this product suitable for sensitive eyes?

While the formula is designed for general use, it is always recommended to test a small patch of skin if you have known cosmetic sensitivities.

How do I sharpen the stick?

You can use any standard cosmetic pencil sharpener that fits the width of the Shadowstix barrel.

Is it safe to use in the waterline?

The product is intended for use on the eyelids; avoid direct contact with the inner waterline.

Does it crease throughout the day?

The formula is specifically designed to be crease-proof, making it ideal for all-day wear.

Troubleshooting

The product feels too dry upon application.

Ensure the lid is kept tightly closed when not in use. If the tip has dried slightly, swipe it on the back of your hand a few times to warm up the formula.

Color is difficult to blend out.

Work on one eye at a time. The formula is designed to be smudge-proof and will set quickly, so blend immediately after swiping onto the skin.

Color isn't showing up as intensely.

Build the color in thin layers. Apply one swipe, blend, and then apply a second layer if more pigment is desired.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Extremely easy to apply for beginners and experts
No additional brushes or makeup tools required
Highly durable, waterproof, and smudge-resistant
Buildable color intensity allows for custom looks
Compact and travel-friendly packaging

Cons

Dries quickly, requiring fast blending
May require a quality makeup remover due to long-wear properties
Limited to pencil-style application precision

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the best performance, apply the Shadowstix to clean, dry eyelids. Using a primer is optional but can further enhance longevity for those with oily lids. Always replace the cap tightly after every use to prevent the creamy formula from drying out. If you need to sharpen the tip for more precise lining, use a standard cosmetic pencil sharpener designed for wider sticks. To remove at the end of the day, use an oil-based makeup remover or cleansing balm, as the formula is designed to be highly resistant to water and sweat.
