Suitable for front wheel use with flat mount forks, it features an adapter to switch between 140mm and 160mm rotor compatibility. The oversized 22mm ceramic pistons are optimized for heat insulation, lightweight, and stiffness, while the opposed 2-piston design reduces leading effect and ensures optimal pad wear for increased braking control. Increased pad-to-rotor clearance minimizes the chance of rotor drag. The forged caliper design is both lightweight and rigid. A one-way internal fluid circuit simplifies the bleeding process, and the mineral oil brake fluid is non-corrosive and less hazardous than conventional hydraulic fluids. The Shim-less mounting bracket allows for quick installation and setup. Recommended for use with Ice Tech Centre Lock SM-RT70 rotors for optimum braking performance. This caliper comes complete with L05A resin compound pads and features inline hose routing for a low-profile design. It is ideal for pairing with Shimano 105 Di2 brake levers (sold separately). It offers 10% wider pad clearance than the mechanical 105 option, resulting in less brake rub and noise. The flat mount system and low-profile design make it ideal for road bikes.
