The woodruff keys are manufactured from high-tolerance steel for strength and durability.
The set includes 8 different sizes: 3mm x 5mm x 13mm, 3mm x 6.5mm x 16mm, 4mm x 5mm x 13mm, 4mm x 6.5mm x 15mm, 4mm x 7.5mm x 19mm, 5mm x 7.5mm x 19mm, 5mm x 9mm x 22mm, and 6mm x 9mm x 22mm.
A woodruff key is used to secure gears, pulleys, or other rotating components to a shaft, preventing them from rotating independently.
Suitable for a number of uses including automotive repair, industrial use, or daily metal working.
The set contains 80 pieces with 10 of each size.
Store the woodruff keys in the partitioned plastic case that comes with the set to keep them organized and protected.
The case is partitioned for easy storage and transportation.
Double-check the size of the key and ensure it matches the keyway specifications. Try another key from the set.
Carefully store the set in the partitioned case after each use. Consider using a separate container to store the keys when in use.
If a key is damaged, replace it immediately to prevent further problems. Use appropriate tools to remove a stuck key.
This set requires no specific setup. Simply open the case and select the woodruff key needed for your task.
Compatibility: The AB Tools Metric Woodruff Key Assortment is compatible with components that use metric woodruff key sizes. Always ensure the key size matches the shaft and gear specifications.
Care: After use, clean the woodruff keys and the case to remove any debris or oil. Store the set in a dry place. Inspect the keys periodically for wear and tear, replacing any damaged keys to maintain optimal performance.
