Press the iron slowly and firmly over the hem for approximately 20 seconds. Then, while it's still hot, peel the fabric apart. Some adhesive will likely remain.

It is always best to test on a hidden area first. Use a lower heat setting and shorter application time for delicate fabrics.
Is the bond permanent?
Yes, the Korbond Hemming Web provides a permanent bond, designed to withstand washing and dry cleaning.
Can I use steam with the iron?
Use a low steam setting. Synthetics need special care, do not allow to dry out.
What happens if the web touches the iron directly?

How do I store the hemming web?
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
What if I accidentally iron the adhesive onto my ironing board?
Carefully remove the adhesive while it is still warm with a scraper or cloth. Be careful not to damage the ironing board surface.
Troubleshooting
The hem is not bonding properly.
Ensure the iron is at the correct temperature and that you are applying firm pressure for the recommended time. Make sure the fabric is clean and dry. If necessary, reapply the iron, and ensure the fabric is suitable for the heat.
Adhesive is visible after bonding.
Ensure the hemming web is fully contained between the fabric layers and doesn't protrude. If residue remains after washing, try gently removing it with a warm, damp cloth or fabric-safe adhesive remover.
